Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your organisation. By using ORIS, you represent that these conditions are met.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at legal@meetoris.com of any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials due to your failure to maintain account security.

One account represents one organisation (tenant). You may not share access credentials across multiple organisations.

You may use ORIS only for lawful business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our services
• Use the platform to store, process, or transmit unlawful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other tenants' data
• Use automated scripts to scrape data or abuse our APIs beyond your rate limits
• Resell or sublicense access to ORIS to third parties without our written consent
• Use the AI services to generate content that violates applicable law or our acceptable use policy

ORIS offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST).

Payments are processed via Razorpay. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account. We will provide at least 7 days' notice before suspension due to non-payment.

The free tier provides access to core features subject to usage limits. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier with 30 days' notice. Free tier accounts inactive for more than 12 months may be deleted after notice.

You retain full ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload to ORIS. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the services you have requested. This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

ORIS routes AI tasks across multiple third-party LLM providers. By using AI features, you acknowledge that:

• AI outputs are not legal opinions, financial advice, or professional certifications
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before acting on it
• Content submitted for AI processing may be transmitted to third-party providers under their respective terms
• We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI outputs

All rights in the ORIS platform, software, documentation, brand, and content we produce are owned by Oris Intelligence Private Limited. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

We welcome feedback. Any suggestions or ideas you share with us may be used by us without obligation or compensation.

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the ORIS platform. Planned maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance via our status page. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure, force majeure events, or factors outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ORIS's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oris Intelligence Private Limited and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms with 7 days' notice, or immediately for serious violations (fraud, illegal activity, security threats).

On termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After that period, we may delete your data subject to legal retention obligations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith through negotiation for at least 30 days.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before the effective date.
